Tobacco:--
The blending of tobacco is done in many ways. It varies according to the season.
In the rainy season the tobacco is mixed with a special material called ‘Kadi’. It is done to prevent the Biris from extinguishing due to humidity. In the Hilly and rural areas strong tobacco is used in Biris while light tobacco is used for urban consumption.
In rural areas strong tobacco is used because the interval between the consumption of two Biris is comparatively big.
In the summer season light tobacco is preferred. In the winter season strong tobacco is preferred. .

The main producer of tobacco is Gujrat. In Maharashtra it is comparativelyvery low. The taste of tobacco depends on the soil in which it is produced. Hence the taste veries. .
